Request account deletion

This page is for the Momentum app, developed by Joaquín Frommer, an individual developer based in California, United States. You can ask us to delete your Momentum account and its data at any time — from inside the app, or by email. This page explains how, what deletion removes, and what is kept.

  1. Delete from inside the app

Open Momentum, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. If you signed up with an email and password you’ll be asked for your password first. Deletion happens straight away.

  2. Or request deletion by email

If you can’t use the app (for example, you no longer have it installed), send a request with the subject “Delete my account” from the email address you use to sign in to Momentum. We may reply to confirm the request came from the account owner before deleting anything.

Email Joaquinfrommer@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”.

If you used Momentum as a guest without signing up, there is no email address linked to your data, so we can’t find it from an email request — please use the in-app option above.

  3. What deletion removes

Deleting your account permanently removes your Momentum account (your sign-in and the email address attached to it) and all of the boards, goals and tasks associated with it. This cannot be undone.

  4. What is kept, and for how long

Some limited information may be kept after deletion, as described in the Retention section of our Privacy Policy:

    • Account records: up to 24 months after the account is closed, to handle any post-termination issues or resolve disputes.
    • Support emails and correspondence (including your deletion request): up to 24 months.
    • Application usage statistics and server logs (such as IP addresses and access times): up to 24 months.
    • Records we are legally required to keep (for example, financial records for tax purposes) for as long as the law requires.
    • Residual copies in encrypted backups, for a limited period until they are routinely deleted.
  5. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription

If you have a Momentum Pro subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play and must be cancelled there — through your Apple subscription settings on iOS, or Google Play subscription settings on Android — before or after you delete your account.
